Experiential Major Maps coming in fall 2025

Experiential major maps for all undergraduate majors will be available for incoming freshmen in fall 2025. What are major maps?

Beyond the degree plan

Major maps partner with degree plans and identify relevant co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities organized around specific periods in an academic career. Each TXST major will have its own major map.

Emphasize high impact engagement

A diverse assortment of programming is detailed to promote personal and professional development. Common features are service-learning, study abroad, internships, student organizations, and research.

Highlight marketable skills

A clear understanding of skills that graduates of the major will obtain is presented along with employment placement potential.

Maximize opportunity and scale impact

Students engage from their first year in a continuous and reflective planning approach toward academic and career success.

Who can use experiential major maps? Prospective and admitted students, advisors, faculty and those interested in how experiential learning is integrated to a major.
