Experiences in Nursing

The bachelor of science in nursing offers courses in a lock step format over five semesters beginning at the junior level following successful completion. Academic study in nursing is combined with clinical experiences in affiliated clinical settings, as well as hours spent in the simulation laboratories in the School of Nursing building. The curriculum is designed to accommodate the latest teaching technologies and learning strategies to provide students with the skills, knowledge and abilities needed for professional nursing practice in the 21st century. The traditional face to face format or hybrid completion for those with previous training are available. Students have the option to participate in Education Abroad or Study in America for global and cultural enrichment. Membership in the major-related student organization or numerous campus organizations is also available for developing peer networks.
